NRI Special Entry Darshan (₹300) is a facility provided at Tirumala for Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), OCI card holders, and foreign passport holders who wish to have a smoother darshan of Lord Venkateswara without waiting long hours in general queues.

NRI Special Entry Darshan

This darshan is managed by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams and is issued only at Tirumala, after proper document verification.


  • Darshan ticket cost: ₹300 per person
  • Ticket is issued only at Tirumala
  • No advance or online booking is available
  • Arrival in India must be within the last 30 days
  • NRI and OCI card holders are eligible
  • Darshan is provided through the Special Darshan Queue Complex

This darshan facility is available for:

  • Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) with foreign passport
  • OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) card holders
  • Foreign passport holders visiting India
  • Arrival in India must be less than 30 days
  • Original passport is mandatory
  • Valid visa / OCI card must be produced

The procedure is simple but strictly monitored.

  1. Report at the Special Darshan Queue Complex (ATC Circle), Tirumala
  2. Collect and fill in the NRI darshan application form with personal and visa details
  3. Submit the following at the counter:
    • Original foreign passport
    • Xerox copy of passport (with visa & immigration stamp)
  4. TTD official verifies the documents
  5. Upon approval, you will be allowed to:
    • Enter the Special Darshan Complex
    • Purchase the ₹300 Special Entry Darshan ticket
  6. Proceed for darshan as per queue instructions

  • Reporting Time:
    12:00 PM to 7:00 PM
  • Reporting Place:
    Special Darshan Queue Complex (ATC Circle), Tirumala

Late reporting is not accepted. Entry is strictly within the reporting window.


  • ₹300 per person
  • Children below 12 years – Free entry
  • Ticket must be purchased only after document verification

You must carry original documents along with photocopies.

  • Original foreign passport
  • Xerox copy of passport
  • Visa page & immigration arrival stamp
  • OCI card (for OCI holders)

Photocopies without originals are not accepted.

  • Parents, grandparents, relatives, or friends are NOT permitted
  • No advance or prior booking is available
  • Dress code rules are strictly followed
  • Mobile phones, bags, and electronic items are prohibited inside queues

Temple dress code applies to all devotees.

Women

  • Saree
  • Salwar kameez with dupatta

Jeans, shorts, sleeveless clothing, and western wear are not allowed.
